We’re a husband and wife team who love family and photography (that’s us pictured above!)
We’re based in Matoaca, VA and we live on Chestnut Ridge Farm together with our chocolate lab/beagle Roxy, 2 kitties, 6 chickens, 5 horses, 3 goats, cows, sheep and Buddy the donkey :)
We understand that life moves incredibly fast. Kids grow up in the blink of an eye. That’s why we enjoy photographing families so much. We find it’s a way to slow things down and live in the moment, even after those days have long passed.
We truly feel like our “photo families” are our families too and we love watching them grow through our lens.
What is
Chestnut Ridge?
It’s where we like to hang our hat and call home. Chestnut Ridge is a real, working farm located in Matoaca, Virginia and it’s conveniently also where we live.
With opportunities for both rustic and beautiful natural scenery in our own backyard, many of our clients choose to have their portraits taken on the farm. And we’re fine with that! If you already have a spot in mind for your session, that’s fine too! Your place or ours, we’re flexible!
